Hi, my name is Lorraine and I am a fully qualified yoga teacher and certified Yogabellies teacher specialising in prenatal, postnatal and women’s yoga. I have completed 300 hours EMPOWER training with yogabellies to help EMPOWER woman through every stage of life.
I also am a baby massage teacher and a Mum to 2 crazy little boys!
Away from the yoga mat, I work as an accountant crunching figures. I love to roll out my mat either to energise myself for the day ahead or to unwind after a hard day. I have practiced yoga for around 12 years and still love trying out new classes and bringing fresh knowledge to my classes when the opportunity arises.
Becoming pregnant and having a baby was both exciting and terrifying for me. Having practiced ashtanga and hot yoga prior to being pregnant and wanting to continue to practice while pregnant I found yogabellies! Not only did it force me to relax and slow down every week, I also made some lifelong mum friends that I have embarked the journey of motherhood with. My second pregnancy was during the pandemic and I found it harder not having those new connections (luckily my yogabellies mum tribe was already strong enough to help me the second time around). I knew that I wanted to make other woman feel how yogabellies made me feel during my first pregnancy and almost enrolled for teacher training about 4 years ago. When the opportunity to train as a yogabellies teacher came up post pandemic I signed up and here I am. I want to continue to give woman the opportunity to develop their own mum tribe to give them the support that is much needed and missing in todays society.
